Russell is responsible for overseeing all administrative and business functions of the London Center and provides support for the UK and Ireland Regional Director. His experience in managing multi-center educational facilities and student housing facilities have led to his appointment at 91心頭利 as Director of Operations in London, where he will take day-to-day responsibility for these areas. Prior to 91心頭利, he spent fifteen years working for Acorn Management Group; in later years, as Acorn's Chief Operating Officer. He was responsible for managing administrative functions for US universities' London study abroad programs, both providing physical estate requirements for universities, and supplying the administrative support required to run successful student-based programs.
Russell also has an extensive knowledge of the London real estate market, having worked for, and with, a number of real estate investment funds responsible for sourcing, purchasing, managing and operating investments. He holds a combined honors degree in Economics and Geography from University of Central Lancashire.
